Don’t be Afraid
Julie Bishop has it all, she’s Australian first female Foreign Minister, can hold her own with the world’s top power brokers and revels in her own femininity.
I admire her as Australian’s representative, as a champion for women and a beautiful wardrobe to boot.
Bishop says “If you are confident, if you are relaxed in your own skin, don’t let them define you. Don’t let other people define you.” (Stella Magazine, Sunday Magazine, October 16, 2016)
I believe women as a role model for our younger generations have the right to express their femininity in the way they dress. Everyone no matter their role has the right to define who they are.
“You always had the power my dear, you just had to learn it for yourself.” Glinda, The Wizard of Oz
A Well-Dressed Man
And I’m not just talking about women; men also have the right to express their individuality in the way they dress.
As a Personal Stylist in Sydney I love how many men today take pleasure in wearing beautiful clothing. They understand the power of superior craftmanship and will invest in a tailored suit that looks smart and sharp.
There is nothing finer than a superb fitting garment in a quality fabric to give you the confidence to succeed.
With many plains and checks on offer in wool-linen (perfect for summer), wool-silk-linen or merino wool you can find one that is right for you.
For a distinguished edge I say, add a waistcoat and leave the lowest bottom undone. This tradition dates back to the Prince of Wales; the future Edward VII who left his bottom button undone to hide his large stomach. The court followed suit and now it is commonplace.
