Denim Blues

Dress it up or down, denim is so versatile and goes with everything.

Prepare to plunge into all shades of denim this autumn, with the entire spectrum of washes, ranging from bleached varieties to indigo.  You can wear the lighter versions for day and the darker for evenings.

Coloured denim is front and centre in olive, mustard, plum, peach, tan and stone.  Ripped denim is still going strong as well as distressed versions, fringed and patchwork denim.

All styles work this season from skinny stretch, to straight, flared and baggy.   A denim jacket is the ideal wardrobe investment, has timeless appeal, and doesn’t have to cost you a fortune.

Men

Ladies

Let denim, often the supporting act be the star.  Look for subtle details like a stepped or fringed hem, rolled up ankle, side stripes or embroidered denim.   Brands include Articles of Society, Ted Baker, Armani Exchange, Tommy Hilfinger,  Levis or Paige.

White denim is having its moment as well as mechanic styled overalls and the oversized shirt worn as a dress.
